Position Overview
Fulton Family Psychiatry is seeking a licensed Mental Health Counselor (LMHC, LPC, LCPC) or Social Worker (LCSW, LMSW) in the state of New York to join our dynamic team. This position will focus on providing psychotherapy services to individuals, couples, and families, helping them navigate a range of emotional and mental health challenges. You will work in partnership with our multidisciplinary team to create tailored, holistic treatment plans that encompass psychotherapy, lifestyle interventions, and medication management when needed.

Key Responsibilities
Conduct comprehensive psychosocial assessments and develop individualized treatment plans with a focus on mental, emotional, and holistic well-being
Provide psychotherapy services using evidence-based practices such as CBT, DBT, EMDR, psychodynamic therapy, attachment-based therapy, and mindfulness
Integrate nutrition, lifestyle interventions (sleep, exercise, etc.), and other holistic strategies into therapy to support long-term healing
Collaborate closely with psychiatrists, nutritionists, life coaches, and case managers to ensure comprehensive, integrative care
Maintain up-to-date clinical documentation in accordance with ethical and professional standards.

Qualifications

Master’s degree in Counseling, Social Work, or a related mental health field

Active, unrestricted license to practice psychotherapy (LMHC, LPC, LCSW, etc.)

A minimum of 2 years of clinical experience providing psychotherapy

Training and experience in psychodynamic psychotherapy is a plus

Experience with trauma-informed care, attachment theory, or working with children/adolescents is highly desirable

Experience in group therapy (parenting groups), couple therapy, and family therapy is a plus

A deep commitment to holistic and integrative mental health practices

Excellent communication, organizational, and documentation skills

Passion for working with a diverse client population and commitment to equity, inclusion, and cultural humility

Bilingual and multicultural competencies are a plus
