Physician Assistant

I am a friendly and ambitious certified PA on a mission to help others on their path to healing. My work as a physician assistant spans the course of 6 years, and encompasses many clinical experiences including primary care, urgent care, collegiate student health, psychiatry, and medical leadership. With regard to my psychiatry practice, I have undergone several years of additional training, internship, supervision and collaboration related to child, adolescent, and adult mental health care. As such, I recently qualified for my NCCPA Certificate of Added Qualification (CAQ) in Psychiatry, and am awaiting results of my board exam.

Previously, my clinical psychiatry background and training primarily focused on medication management in the outpatient mental health setting; because of this, I have a strong foundational knowledge of psychiatric evidence-based practice, diagnostics, and principals regarding effective psychotropic medication management. However, I am truly blessed and honored to work with my team at Fulton Family Psychiatry, because I firmly believe that the true path to healing and emotional wellness encompasses much more than just medication: I believe in the purposeful, selective, and intentional use of psychiatric medications. In many patients, they can be very helpful. Nevertheless, it is also critical to incorporate lifestyle measures, behavioral modification, talk therapy, practical strategies, nutrition, and exercise into one's treatment plan as well. This is the framework that I use with all of my patients here, and I allow my patients to guide me in their desired treatment approach. I am honored to take part in your journey to a meaningful life and healing.

Professionally, my psychiatric clinical interests include neurodivergence, support for Autism Spectrum, ADHD support, anxiety, and bipolar spectrum illness. However, I have had extensive clinical experience managing the following: depression, OCD, trauma healing, PTSD, feeding/eating disorders, somatic disorders, dissociative disorders, and personality disorders. I am available and willing to work with adults, adolescents, and children.

Though I work full-time as a certified PA, I also own my own Golden Retriever breeding business and training program, where I help others connect with the dogs they love. Studley Hill Goldens, LLC. specializes in raising and training dogs for canine Service work and Animal-Assisted Therapy. Our puppy curriculum focuses on empowerment, human engagement, and workability. My dogs have been instrumental in my personal healing, and I believe animals can have a unique and meaningful impact on all our lives.

In my (limited) spare time, I enjoy hiking, reading, baking, and volunteering in Animal-Assisted Therapy in my local community.
